Corporate Trainer
A growing, dynamic organization is seeking a skilled and creative Corporate Trainer to join its Learning & Development function. This position offers the unique opportunity to design and deliver impactful training programs that shape employee success, drive business performance, and strengthen company culture.
Position Summary:
The Trainer will be responsible for conducting comprehensive needs analyses, developing engaging learning content, and facilitating training sessions across a range of topics including communication, customer service, sales, systems, and leadership. This position reports to a senior team member and works closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps in skills, performance, and alignment with company culture
Design and develop interactive training programs based on adult learning principles (ADDIE framework)
Deliver in-person and virtual training on topics such as conflict resolution, negotiation, active listening, operational processes, phone and presentation etiquette, sales techniques, and systems usage
Partner with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders to co-create and align training content
Collect and analyze training data including hours trained, feedback scores, repeat attendance, and skills application metrics
Continuously revise and update training programs based on employee feedback and evolving industry trends
Lead the development and launch of the company?s new hire orientation program in collaboration with leadership
Support a culture of continuous learning and improvement across departments
Requirements & Qualifications:
3?5 years of experience in corporate training or an applicable degree in Learning & Development, Communications, HR, or related field
Strong public speaking, facilitation, and presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Skilled in creative design platforms such as Canva, Adobe, or equivalent
Comfortable with new technology including AI and e-learning platforms
Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required
Willingness to travel 25% of the time (up to 5?7 days/month) for site visits, trade shows, and training events
Team player with a strong work ethic ? willing to pitch in with office or facility maintenance when needed
Must pass a background check
Comfortable working in a high-energy, collaborative environment
